This will be a non topical post, as there isn't any one certain topic I wish to focus on. However, since I haven't posted in a few days, I felt the need to do so.
As of late, there has been one main issue that has been getting way too much time, energy, and drama focused on it. My pet peeve, leaking. I don't mean incontinence, either. Leaking info from places others do not have access. I know, I know. I have bitched way too much about it. I'm sick of it, myself. It has been happening too frequently. Very recently, one of my posts, along with some other girls' posts, from a private board was leaked and shared on a public board. Don't get me wrong, I had nothing to hide. I would have said the very same damn things publicly. I'm that way. Direct, to the point, open. It's just the principal of the thing. Sometimes, I get hung up on principals. It's a trigger and a flaw.
I'm tired, though. On a couple boards, this is high school mentality I've been fighting against. I'm done with that. Kicking it to the curb. Back to business. Ignoring the dumb shit. Of course, though, if I ignore it all too much, I could lose blogging material, LOL. Some of the drama has entertainment value. So, it's back to laughing at it all. Look for some comedic blogs(well, an attempt at comedy) upcoming soon.
In the mean time, posts will be a bit lax for the next few days. Have some out of town play time scheduled, and a board Meet & Greet.

Whore or Service Provider?
Hooker. Whore. Escort. Prostitute. John. Client. Date. A lot of words used to label each of us, and to describe ourselves. Some people prefer the sugar coated version. Some prefer the more realistic version. Some don't give a shit.
Words do not offend. It is how they are used that does. Being called a whore does not offend me. The tone of how it used does. The word hooker does not either. I understand the history of the word. One legend says the etymology comes from a group of women who followed Civil War soldiers lead by Union Major General Joseph "Fighting Joe" Hooker. The women were partly motivated by money, but mostly by a patriotic desire to lift the spirits of the soldiers. This myth is discounted, due to the fact that a written record of the term is found prior to this. The term was popularized, because of Hooker and his men, not invented because of them.
The earliest written record of the term hooker is in 1845. The idea of “hooking” as crude sexual persuasion is probably the root sense of the word. Some other possible origins include geographic roots. Corlear's Hook, a disreputable red light district of New York City, could have been the source.
Hooker is also British slang for a thief. Since some whores supplement their income with a little thievery, that could have led to the usage of the word. Hooker is also slang for an old boat (from the Dutch hoecker-schip, or fishing boat). It could have gone the way of tramp, as in tramp steamer. A more likely etymology is that a hooker is simply “one who hooks.” The term portrays a prostitute as a person who hooks, or snares, clients.
Whore. It comes from the ancient word " horae". The Horae were goddesses who men worshiped because of their power. Annie Sprinkle has a page devoted to the word. She considers it to be a compliment. After reading her words, so do I. When someone attempts to insult me with that word, I laugh. If it is another whore trying to be insulting, I laugh harder.
John, Client. Words used to describe someone paying for services. Both have the same meaning. The type of service may be different. However, money is always exchanged in some form.
Several people wear rose colored glasses. They hate the reality of what this is all about. So, words like "Service Provider" "Escort" " Adult Companion" and such help create a fantasy land of sorts for them. The hardcore reality is too much for them to deal with. Or, they are in denial of some sort.
As for me, I don't care what words are used. I use them all at various times. When on some of the fantasy oriented boards, I stick with the sugar coated versions. Most of the time, LOL. When on boards more open to reality, I use whatever word comes to mind. Sometimes, I like the fantasy aspect. Other times, ugh! Too much sweetness. Also, on occasion, I use a mixture of them all. When posting an ad, I tend to stay more "politically correct".

Due to circumstances beyond my control, (flu re-emerging) , posts will be slow over the course of the next couple of days. I will be around, however. Name Your Own Special
That is the title of an ad on a board. The tart is letting each guy name their own price. It is original. Points for that. She'll get business. If she gets an offer for $1, will she agree to it?
At least she came up with her own idea. There are girls who "borrow" (steal) text from other hos' ads & sites. A few months back, a girl copied and pasted my Contact page text to her website.
I'm rambling, I know. Getting off topic. I don't feel like ranting about rates. There is enough discussion about that on various boards. It comes down to this, if a girl isn't getting good business at the rate she has set, she will change it. Vote with your wallets, guys! See hos you can afford. I know & understand you don't have to pay high rates for excellent service. The adage "you get what you pay for" doesn't always ring true.

If you are a new reader to this blog, Cyn has targeted me and this blog for some unapparent reason. Perhaps one day, he can explain why. Usually, I'm not a bitch. I'm a lover not a fighter. But, I can hold my own if needed.

Loose Cannons
They are everywhere. Some even have their own blogs in which they post pictures, real names, and other identifiable info. I can't help but wonder how they would react if they got a dose of their own medicine? Of course, that would mean lowering to their standards. It is tempting. In a fit of revengeful anger, I can see that happening. Later on, it would be regretted. Some of us do have a conscience.
A quote from a post at a Seattle review board highlights one loose cannon. Someone who outed an agency owner, posted info about her business license, accused her of being a pimp with out any proof to support the claim, and said she should be killed if she is a pimp. Nice, huh? Sounds real ethical. Someone who can be completely trusted. Guess again! If a person with this type of mentality feels you have crossed him, he will play God with your life. One of these days, someone will return the favor. No deed goes unpunished.
I try not to play that way. If I have a problem with someone, I deal with that person openly. If they want to play dirty, I may respond in kind. The "turn the other cheek" stance only goes to a certain limit. I can be a real bitch. However, I dont initiate it. I prefer to be above board, and settle our differences like adults, and without harming our lives.
It is a shame it has to come to that, on occasion. For some reason, this life attracts loose cannons.

Ethics in Whoring
It's possible. This biz is what it is. We don't have to be assholes in dealing with each other. So, here is a Code of Ethics I try to follow. Being human, some room to error is needed. However, there are some things that are not cool.
1. Keep personal info personal & private. Dont give anyone anything they can use against you. Dont blackmail others if you happen to know something about them. Its a shame it has to be said. Once upon a time, somewhere in the USA, a few gentlemen members of a board were blackmailed by a pimp and his ho. Marriages were threatened. One ended. All due to a person who kept email addresses, john, and tart info, along with real names, in their computer. The pimp had access to the computer & needed a large amount of cash. Figure out the rest.
On the other end of things, hos have been stalked by "clients" who have either been told personal info about the girl or somehow obtained it. I know of a woman who was stalked by a john who used 1-800 Search to do a background check on her. I also know of another guy who did background checks, on the girls he saw, via his job. He used the info to blackmail some of the girls into providing him with BBFS & anal sex at no cost. Cost or no cost, not cool!
I could continue on with this section. But you get the point.
2. No leaking. What is posted on a private board should stay there. This is one rule that gets broken alot. People in this life can't seem to keep their mouth shut. Goes for johns, too. Hence, the first rule above. Some think they are doing everyone a service for exposing private board info. Think about this.....if you leak from a board you are a member of& also have your own private board, you would be a hypocrite if you bitch about any leaks occuring. If you post leaked info on your blog, the same applies. I dont want to hear about it if you leak, or have posted leaked info, & have a private board that leaks. Karma, baby!
3. A deal is a deal. When you contact a tart, her rate is her rate. If you dont like it, ask if she will negotiate, or move on. If you see her, be prepared to pay her regular rate or what was agreed to. Whores hate being scammed. Some will try to seek revenge one way or another. The same with johns. They hate being cashed and dashed, & bait & switched. Be prepared to deal with consequences if you engage in that behavior. Again, karma!
